Another new cousin!!!  My cousins welcomed their new daughter Charlie Freya last night at 10:24 pm.  Although she was 3 weeks early she is still a healthy 6 lbs. 12 oz and 20" long. 

We first saw this sign on Easter on the way out to his Mom's house.  You can imagine our surprise when it ti's STILL up for Mother's Day!!!  Surely someone would have told them their mistake......  Perhaps the joke's on us, but it's sure funny to me!  (Perhaps they mean cookie????)

A friend of mine lost her 4 year old nephew last night.  He had been healthy, but came down with pneumonia and something called HUS...  My heart goes out to her and her family.

She's here and says I don't blog enough.  God love her.

I love my aunt, she's so much fun.  She's staying with us for the weekend.  She lives in Columbus, but grew up in Hamilton so she comes down south to visit on occasion.  The occasion this time is an annual turkey dinner at the church my great aunt always went to.)  It's totally out in east boofoo land (seriously, it's like an hour away) but that's OK, it's an excuse for her to come visit!  And she has a new Chevy HHR, which hubby wants to check out.  JB is quickly outgrowing the car and the van is not an option for everyday use, so we'll be in the market for a new car soon.

I'm not sure whether it's wise that we've walked the Purple People Bridge 2 nights in a row, but we did. My voice is gone again, but I took (at least) a 4 hour nap today...  We all did, so I guess the entire family was in need of rest!

We checked out (no pun intended) the St. Bernard library branch this evening. It's small and has no play area for little ones, but they definitely win in the kindest librarians department, and hubby was impressed with the DVD selection for such a tiny branch. 

As we were out driving around there was a bus with an ad on it for Gold Star Chili.  (At the bottom of the page you'll see the ad for the chili mac n cheese) Maybe it's just us, but we found it hilarious when he yelled, "Look Mommy! Mac n'cheese bus!!!"

PS- This book is totally hilarious!!!  I'm hooked.
