is so confusing!!!!  There's far too many places to leave a comment, and then all those applications.... I'm lost!

In other news, we went to the Reading branch library today.  I did a count, and it looks like we've been to approximately 14 of the 41 branches. We'll get there....

My friend K got me hooked on a new series, thankfully there's only 3 books that I'm aware of.  Definite David Eddings influence there, but from what I understand the author was 16 when he wrote it, so that's pretty damn good!

  • MySpace.... Someone told me to join to network my business... I can't figure it out. I am 50 and I dont have that much time left! LOL

  • Some of the Apps on Facebook are a little clunky... and the New Facebook layout is not popular among its users. You can just remove the apps that don't work the way they should and keep the ones you like. I could give you a tutorial the next time I see you. You'll also get your Obama sign then too.

I enjoy the Inheritance series. Yes, Christopher Paolini was 16 when he wrote Eragon. You can see quite a bit of growth and maturity when you read Eldest. Haven't been able to get a hold of the latest book yet, but I look forward to it. (I'm on the waiting list at the library for it)
I was a sucker for the boy and his dragon fantasy books in junior high, so this series definitely gave me a nice escape during the read. It's nice to find those brief gateways back to simpler times.

    Take Care

  • One hint about facebook...ignore or block the apps! The rest gets less confusing as you use it. Now that I' used to it i like the new layouts a lot better, (I despise clutter) I'll pm you with my name, if you'd like to add me to your friends.

I'd love to add you as a friend!

  • lol. Yea, I think the older one was cleaner (facebook). And I basically just use the wall to post comments, and pictures I guess. But so, there's actually going to be 4 books. Brisingr is the third but there should/will be one more.

Thanks! I finished the first one Tuesday night, so now I'm on to the second one. There's a waiting list of 95 people at the library for the third book.

  • I can't stand the way Facebook is set up anymore.   I've read (I think) the first one of the Eragon series, but I'm not much into that genre, so it's been awhile and I have no real desire to read the others.  (Not saying they aren't good, just they aren't my cup of tea.)
